STAFFORD, Texas – A man is dead after he was found shot on the side of the road near a gas station in Stafford Tuesday, Fort Bend County deputies said. According to investigators, the 22-year-old man, identified as Camerron Long, was found around 2:24 a.m. on the side of the road at 812 FM/1092. Detectives said after further investigation, they learned that Long was involved in a shootout and was hit multiple times. Surveillance video from the On The Go corner store showed two parties meeting outside the convenience store and opening fire, according to the Fort Bend County Sheriff’s Office. HOUSTON – Deputies are investigating after they said a man fatally shot one of two teens who tried to rob him Friday. HOUSTON – A man was fatally shot in southeast Houston Wednesday night. Now, police are searching for the man who they said pulled the trigger. Officers said the shooting happened at a Duplex on Bangle Street and Galveston Road at around 10:45 p.m.Police said the victim was pistol-whipped and then shot by a suspect that was hanging around the duplex before the shooting. According to officers, he was dead by the time they arrived. A search is currently underway for the suspect.

A man who made a frantic call to the Liberty County Sheriff’s Dispatcher was later found dead inside his mobile home Monday afternoon, according to Liberty County Sheriff’s Office. The call was made around 1 p.m. from Aiden Walker, who said he’d been shot eight times at his home in the Plum Grove area, deputies said. After interviewing witnesses, deputies were able to identify the suspect’s vehicle. Around 3:30 p.m., deputies said the suspect, Samuel F. Depina, turned himself in and was taken into custody. Depina was booked into the Liberty County Jail.

HOUSTON – Family members identified the man shot to death during a family dispute Monday near Rosharon as 38-year-old Maurice Hood.
