Claudia González was 15 when she crossed the border into Texas to reunite with her mother. Now she’s back in Mexico, separated from her 15-year-old son and her husband in Houston.

A federal judge in Houston is expected to rule for the second time that the Obama-era program is illegal. The possible end of DACA could upend the lives of more than 95,000 Texans enrolled in the program.

Texas has the second-largest population of immigrants in the Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals program in the country. An appeals court is expected to rule soon on whether the program is legal.

Judge Andrew Hanen's ruling doesn't affect the status of more than 600,000 current DACA recipients.
