A Houston family is speaking out months after discovering their loved one’s body was found inside a stranger’s apartment — and KPRC 2 News has learned the case, which was previously closed, is now back under investigation.

Deputies with the Harris County Sheriff’s Office says a man, believed to be in his mid-20s, died after being shot and then driven to a home in the Katy-area Tuesday.
