According to documents obtained by KPRC 2 Investigates, Daryn Edwards, 59, has had extensive course training, including earning 60 hours of credit in child abuse prevention and investigation.
Daryn Edwards, 59, is now charged with aggravated sexual assault and sexual performance of a child. No bond has been set for those charges.
A captain with the Houston Police Department has been arrested and charged with possession of child pornography.
