Investigation underway after body washes ashore near Hilton hotel in Pasadena on March 5, 2021. PASADENA, Texas – An investigation is underway after a body washed ashore Friday afternoon near the Hilton Hotel on Clear Lake, according to the Pasadena Police Department. The body was reportedly found at 7:57 a.m. at the hotel located at 3307 East NASA Parkway. Police said they are still trying to determine if the person’s death was the result of a homicide. The person’s identity has not been released.

So, Ruth Nasrullah and her husband, Mohammad Nasrullah, set out to humanize the statistic by launching the website. “I think the best way to bring those numbers to life is to see the faces of the victims,” Ruth Nasrullah said. While collecting obituaries one of their volunteers lost a family member to the coronavirus.

In high school at Clear Lake she won two state championships, then at Texas was a part of the 1988 National Championship and at Second Baptist School has led its volleyball program to four state titles. LEAGUE CITY, Texas – A pilot was not hurt after his seaplane crashed into Clear Lake on Monday, a trooper said. League City Police received a call that a seaplane had gone down around 5:30 p.m. The plane was upside down in the water when first responders arrived. The pilot told investigators he had landed on the water and was attempting to take off again when a wave hit, sending the plane nose down into the water. Stephen Woodard with the Department of Public Safety said the pilot is 59-years-old.

HOUSTON – Police conducting a welfare check found an elderly couple dead in their Clearlake home on Tuesday in an apparent murder-suicide, HPD homicide detectives said. “It was a stab wound,” Detective Rossow said when asked how the woman died. Investigators made the discovery at the home on the 15800 block of Heatherdale Street just afternoon. “(We will) wait for (an) autopsy report to come back, toxicology report to come back,” Rossow said. A friend said the husband and wife were very religious.

PASADENA, Texas – What was once a historic vision at 3300 Nasa Parkway is now in a state of demolition, as the city of Pasadena reluctantly approved the permit to take the West Mansion down. The West Mansion used to be a 17,000 square-foot Italian Renaissance Mansion, designed by renown architect Joseph Finger. "I would drive them by the mansion and I would tell them stories about the mansion,” Conrad said. Keeney said he is disappointed with the city of Pasadena, saying they should have done more to stop the demolition. The West Mansion was a place filled with history.
