The final suspect charged in the 2020 Bar 5015 explosion has been arrested on Tuesday morning, according to FBI Houston.

HOUSTON – A local business held an event Saturday to celebrate the entrepreneurship of young Houstonians. Fifteen kid entrepreneurs participated in a pop-up shopping experience at Bar 5015, a lounge at 5015 Almeda. The family-friendly event allowed young people to showcase their talents and develop their entrepreneurial spirit. HOUSTON Firefighters are set to release Thursday surveillance video connected to last weeks explosion at a bar near Houstons Museum District. Houston Fire Chief Sam Pea and arson investigator George Smith will provide an update on the investigation into the June 12 blast at Bar 5015 at the corner of Almeda Road and Wichita Street. The news conference is scheduled to begin at 10:30 a.m.Officials said gas cans were found at the scene, but they were still trying to determine if they were used to start the fire that caused the explosion. Both the FBI and the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives are assisting with the investigation. HOUSTON Nearby businesses are boarding up Friday after an early morning explosion at Bar 5015 in Houstons Museum District that investigators say was intentionally set. Catch the person who did it, said Marlon Brooks, the owner of Brooks Family BBQ. While some businesses were damaged in the explosion, others were destroyed including a trailer for Brooks Family BBQ that was also set up on the bars property. Ive got an opportunity to kind of rebuild and weather the storm until this COVID thing is over, Brooks said. The business has since set up a GoFundMe page to help raise funds to rebuild.
