Police said the 15-year-old was pronounced dead at the scene. The cause of the shooting is unknown and no arrests have been made. According to HPD, preliminary investigation indicated there are at least two suspects in their late teens. HOUSTON – Police said they are trying to figure out what led up to a deadly shooting at an apartment complex in Alief Wednesday. Officers said around 10 p.m. they responded to a report of gunshots and people yelling at the Magnolia Terrace Apartments on Synott Road. HOUSTON – Police said they are searching for a suspect on the run after two men were shot while sitting in a vehicle in Alief Thursday morning. Officers said the shooting happened at Sea Shore Drive and South Kirkwood at around 12:30 a.m. According to police, the men were in the vehicle when a red Cadillac drove by, opened fire and sped off. Officers said one man was shot in the arm and treated at the scene. The other was shot in the leg and taken to the hospital, police said.

HOUSTON – A suspected drunk driver is in custody after deputies said he crashed right into the side of a home's garage in Alief. Deputies said the incident happened just after 3 a.m. on Birchaven and Westknoll, not far from Beechnut. Officers said no one was injured in the crash. Deputies arrested the driver at the scene on suspicion of DWI. He is expected to face charges.
