CYPRESS, Texas – The Harris County Pct. 4 Constable’s Office says there is a heavy law enforcement presence at a Kroger store in Cypress after a reported shooting inside the store.
The agency says the store is located in the 20300 block of Cypresswood Drive.
The constable’s office says there were reportedly shots fired inside the store.
Cpt. Juan Flores says they responded around 2:50 p.m. after getting multiple calls of gunshots being fired inside the store.
Authorities arrived within minutes. Flores said they found one man walking out of the store with a gunshot wound. When deputies went inside, they found another man suffering from multiple gunshot wounds.
Both individuals were transported to hospitals in critical condition. Flores says they believe the two individuals were the only ones involved and nobody else appears to have been injured.
“It doesn’t appear we have an outstanding individual, we believe we have all parties involved,” Flores said.
Detectives are currently headed to the scene to investigate further and look through video surveillance.
