Woman killed in chain-reaction crash in Third Ward, driver taken to hospital

A woman who stepped off the curb and was walking near parked cars was killed when a driver collided with another vehicle, setting off a chain reaction that pushed a parked car into her. Man charged after shooting wrong person while searching for girlfriend at Houston rental, police say

In a case that feels almost surreal, police say a man has been charged after he and another suspect went to the wrong side of a short-term rental looking for his girlfriend, and ended up fatally shooting an innocent man who happened to be in the unit. Police are still searching for the second suspect.


Two Pasadena Memorial HS students suspected of planning ‘mass shooting’ at school

This one really hits home for anyone with kids in school. Authorities say two students from Pasadena Memorial High School were suspected of plotting a mass shooting. Suspect shot by Montgomery County Pct. 2 deputy at Conroe park

Over in Montgomery County, a traffic stop at a park in Conroe escalated when a suspect reportedly pulled a gun on a deputy. The deputy fired, and the suspect was wounded and taken for medical treatment.
