Garbage truck fire causes backup on feeder road on I-10 at Sheldon Road

HOUSTON, Texas – Although the fire is out, multiple crews had to respond to the garbage truck fire that shut down the westbound feeder road on I-10 at Sheldon Road on Tuesday morning.

Harris County Precinct 3 Constable Sherman Eagleton said the Dell Dale exit is also closed.

Several crews are on the scene cleaning up trash that fell onto the road during the fire. This cleanup caused major delays in the area.
