Houston church employee charged with posing as ICE agent to extort woman

A Houston church employee faces charges after allegedly posing as a federal ICE agent and threatening a woman with deportation unless she paid him, according to Harris County court records.

Donald Patrick Doolittle, 58, was charged with impersonating a public servant after allegedly posing as a federal Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) agent.

According to court records, Doolittle allegedly tried to coerce the woman into paying him to avoid deportation.

In his financial affidavit, Doolittle listed employment as a safety director for the past 10 years. He appeared in court recently and was granted a $10,000 bond.

Doolittle is next court hearing is set for Jan. 13, 2026.
