The Harris County Pct. 5 Constable’s Office said Wilbert Sequeiros was taken into custody through a combined effort of the U.S. Marshals, Peruvian authorities, INTERPOL and the Department of Justice Office of International Affairs. He has been extradited back to Houston.

Sequeiros was employed as an elementary school teacher and soccer coach. He is accused of sexually assaulting at least seven children, both boys and girls, between the ages of seven and 10-years-old while working for Houston ISD and Klein ISD between 2014-2019.

Victims began coming forward in 2019, which led to his arrest the following year. However, while he was out on bond, Sequeiros fled the country and went to Peru.
