Bar owner killed, woman charged after shooting in West Harris County

HARRIS COUNTY – A woman was charged with killing a bar owner in West Harris County.

Harris County Sheriff Ed Gonzalez said it happened at the Kings Lounge on the Katy Freeway near Westgreen Boulevard Sunday morning.

Upon arrival, deputies found the owner of the bar, Hussein Ali, 48, suffering from a gunshot wound.

The alleged shooter, Latocha Muckleroy remained on the scene.

Ali was transported to a hospital where he died.

Ali and Muckleroy reportedly had a previous dating relationship.

Muckleroy was charged with murder and was booked into the Harris County jail.
