HOUSTON – Unlicensed chiropractor Joshua Gomez, already facing sexual assault charges, has been charged again in connection with a separate case, authorities said Wednesday.
The new charge involves a different woman and dates back to 2019, according to a judge in probable cause court. The investigation now points to a possible serial sexual assault case.

Gomez was first arrested in August after being accused of sexually assaulting a woman in 2023 during a postpartum procedure at One Life Chiropractic Clinic in Katy, a business owned by his brother.
Records show Gomez was only authorized to perform managerial duties and was not allowed to conduct procedures. His chiropractor license was suspended in 2019 following multiple sexual misconduct allegations.
Investigators also said Gomez is out on bond for another sexual assault charge in McAllen. Detectives believe he may be connected to more than a dozen victims.
At Wednesday’s court hearing, a judge issued a protective order against Gomez and set his bail at $50,000. He has since bonded out of jail.
The Harris County Sheriff’s Office encourages anyone with information about additional victims to come forward by calling (713) 755-6044.
