HOUSTON – The Houston Astros have traded IF/OF Mauricio Dubón to the Atlanta Braves in exchange for IF Nick Allen.

The team announced the trade on its Facebook page Wednesday evening.
Dubón played with the Astros for four seasons, from 2022 to 2025.
During his time with the team, he was awarded multiple American League Gold Glove Award’s.
Dubón was well known during his time with the Astros for his impressive and versatile defensive ability, making starts at multiple positions including second base, shortstop, third base, and all three outfield positions.
Nick Allen had been with the Braves since Nov. 2024, when he was traded to the team from Oakland. During his time with the Braves, he was also nominated for a Gold Glove Award at shortstop.
