HOUSTON – The Houston Airports System says TSA security lanes at Terminal C at Bush Intercontinental Airport will reopen Wednesday.
The lanes are scheduled to open beginning at 4 a.m. on Wednesday.

The checkpoint at Terminal D still remains closed until further notice.
The checkpoints at both Terminal C and D have been closed since Nov. 1, amid the government shutdown.
In the following days, the airport struggled with long lines and major delays.
The Houston Airport System estimates 2.1 million people will travel through both Bush and Hobby airports between Thursday, Nov. 20, and Monday, Dec. 1. 1.6 million of those are expected to travel through Bush.
Even though the TSA lanes will reopen at Terminal C, the Houston Airport Systems says there is still reduced screen at Hobby and with a large amount of travelers passing through, wait times may still be longer than usual.
