Meet Dizzy: The cat looking for a forever home

HOUSTON – Every week, KPRC 2 visits Houston Humane Society to spotlight our Pet of the Week. This week we’re featuring Dizzy, a three-year old domestic shorthair ready to meet her forever family!

Dizzy is an incredibly sweet girl who was brought to the shelter with a severe head injury. Her finder didn’t even know if she’d survive. No one knows exactly what happened to her, but we know she’s a fighter with the biggest heart.

Despite everything she’s been through, Dizzy is full of love. She adores cuddles, purrs nonstop and makes the softest little biscuits when she’s happy. She’s continuing to improve each day, though she may always have some lasting effects from her injury. She sometimes wobbles or tips to the side when she walks and her vision isn’t perfect, but she doesn’t let that slow her down.

“Dizzy is looking for a patient, loving home that will see her for the incredible, affectionate survivor she is,” says Houston Humane Society’s Tiana Bell. “With a cozy bed, gentle hands, and plenty of love, she’ll make the perfect companion for anyone who believes in second chances.”
