Meet Geoffrey! KPRC 2’s first ever equine pet of the week

HOUSTON – Our KPRC 2 Pet of the Week is Geoffrey, a handsome, young Thoroughbred cross gelding with a kind, thoughtful nature.

Houston Humane Society saved Geoffrey and seven other horses from a cruelty case in June. He has since recovered from his injuries and is enjoying time with other mares and geldings at HHS.

Livestock Manager, Princess Bednarski, tells our Lisa Hernandez that Geoffrey is one of the sweetest horses on the property, adding that he would do best in a performance home with an owner willing to dedicate time to building his confidence.

Geoffrey has already made incredible progress as he recovers from a rough start in life, and he is more than ready to meet the forever family who will shower him with love and never let him down again.
