HOUSTON, Texas – An investigation is underway after three people were found dead inside a home in northwest Harris County on Monday afternoon.
Mark Herman with the Harris County Precinct 4 Constable’s Office said deputies responded to a home located in the 12200 block of Walters Road after a caller stated they arrived at the home and found three people on the floor covered in blood.
When deputies arrived, they confirmed two women and one man were dead inside.
Authorities say it appears all three had been shot, although investigators would not say if a gun had been recovered.
It is unclear whether this is a murder or a murder-suicide, but homicide investigators are at the scene. They are working to find surveillance video as well as interview family members and other tenants in the area.
According to officials, they don’t know if the individual who found the people inside had a key or if the door was open, but there was no signs of forced entry beforehand.
People in the area did say the three people inside the home were seen alive this morning.
