HOUSTON, Texas – After the body of a missing teen was discovered stuffed in the trunk of Houston singer D4vd’s Tesla at a Los Angeles tow yard last week, the Harris County Sheriff’s Office confirms deputies have responded to a Houston-area home connected to the singer twice this week.

Property records show the home is in the name of Thorn Rose Trust, similarly resembling the name of D4vd’s album “Petals to Thorns.” Public records tie the property, at the end of a cul-de-sac in Cypress, Texas, to David Anthony Burke, also known as D4vd.

When KPRC 2 News visited the home on Wednesday, nobody answered the door, and neighbors said they hadn’t seen activity at the home in weeks.

A license plate on a beat-up car parked in the driveway came back as registered to a relative of the 20-year-old singer. The blinds were shut, a security camera appeared to be activated, and the front porch light was on.

Harris County deputies responded to the home on Monday and Tuesday, according to a spokesperson for the sheriff’s office, after the home security system triggered an alarm on each day.

But the sheriff’s office determined it to be a false alarm, the spokesperson said, and there were no signs of a break-in or unlocked doors. Nobody was home at each time.

The Los Angeles County Medical Examiner’s Office identified the dismembered remains on Wednesday as 15-year-old Celeste Rivas, the same teen who has been missing from Riverside County, California, since April of 2024.

The remains were found in the trunk of a Tesla with a Texas license plate registered to D4vd, which had been abandoned in the Hollywood Hills and towed, NBC News reported. Once at the tow yard, workers reported smelling something foul emanating from the vehicle.

The relationship between the international star, who has more than 3.8 million followers on TikTok, and Rivas has not yet been clarified by investigators. Rivas’ brother told NBC Los Angeles she disappeared after leaving the family home to see a movie with D4vd.

Before the two false alarms this week, Texas deputies hadn’t been to the home since May of 2023, which was also for a false alarm call, according to the sheriff’s office.

So far, no search warrants have been executed at the Cypress home in connection with the Los Angeles death investigation, the sheriff’s office spokesperson said.

No one has been arrested, and the LAPD told KPRC 2 News on Wednesday that investigators have not yet determined if a crime occurred, as they are awaiting cause and manner of death from the medical examiner.

An attorney as well as a publicist for D4vd has not responded to multiple requests for comment.

Several calls to his relatives have gone unanswered. His show in Seattle was canceled on Wednesday night as part of his Withered World Tour.
