It happened around 9:30 p.m. at a home on Piney Forest Drive near Katy

According to Harris County Sheriff Ed Gonzalez, Precinct 5 Constable’s deputies got a call for help from a 16-year-old girl after witnessing her parents having some sort of argument.

When officers arrived, they found the teen outside unharmed, but discovered her parents were killed inside.

Investigators at the scene told KPRC 2 they believe the 47-year-old man shot and killed his 48-year-old wife before taking his own life. Deputies said no one else was hurt. None of them have been identified, as of this writing.

Family members told investigators the couple had been in an ongoing dispute and may have been considering divorce.
