Al Roker joins Hill Country Flood recovery efforts as part of ‘Lend a Hand’ series

KERR COUNTY, Texas – Longtime Today Show meteorologist Al Roker is in the Texas Hill Country Thursday morning for his “Lend a Hand” series.

DONATE TODAY: KPRC, KSAT, Graham Media Group and Gray Media unite to launch Together for Texas, an emergency donation drive

First launched in 2002, the series looks to shine a light on recovery efforts and the inspiring stories of hope amid the devastation across the flood-ravaged Hill Country.

“We have a lot of wherewithal, and we need to share that,” Roker told KPRC 2’s Re’Chelle Turner. “I think it’s important to make sure people know that we don’t forget, that we see them, that we know them, and that we want them to know that they’re cared about still."
