Astros select Xavier Neyens with 21st overall pick in 2025 MLB Draft

The Houston Astros have selected Xavier Neyens with the 21st overall pick in the 2025 MLB Draft.
Neyens primarily plays shortstop and third base, while also pitching in high school.
Standing at 6-foot-4 and weighing 205 pounds, the 18-year-old attended Mount Vernon High School in Mount Vernon, Washington.
He is currently committed to play college ball at Oregon State University.
According to an article from AstrosFuture, Neyens was the first high school position player the ‘Stros have taken in the first round since 2015. Who was that pick? None other than Kyle Tucker.
