Kyle Tucker shined during his second game against his former team, blasting four hits—including a three-run homer—and lifting the Chicago Cubs to a 12-3 win over the Houston Astros.

Lance McCullers Jr. started at the mound for Houston, returning from the IL for his first start in 18 days. He was pulled in the fourth inning after giving up a triple in a 7-2 ballgame. His final stat line was rough, as he finished with just one strikeout while allowing seven hits, four walks and eight earned runs across 3.1 innings of action.

Despite the blowout loss, the Astros still had another shining moment from rookie Cam Smith, who was part of the trade package that sent Tucker to Chicago. He blasted a two-run homer into left center field in the bottom of the third inning, marking the second-straight game he’s hit a home run.

The loss snaps a five-game winning streak for the ‘Stros. They fell to 49-34 on the season, still holding a 6.5-game lead in the AL West.

Accounting for Houston’s 7-4-win Friday night, the teams will meet once more Sunday to decide the series.
