Person dies after being electrocuted in accident in Montgomery County

The Montgomery County Sheriff’s Office is assisting Fire and EMS at the scene of an industrial accident involving someone being electrocuted.

Recovery efforts are paused as crews wait for power to be safely shut off. Sadly, the victim is believed to have died.

Part of FM 2978, just north of Woodlands Parkway, is currently blocked.

Drivers should expect delays and use caution in the area.
