REMINDER: Deadline to protest property value approaching in Harris County

The deadline to submit a protest for the market value of your home is approaching in Harris County.

The deadline is May 15 or 30 days after the date on the value notice.

On Wednesday, Harris County Tax Assessor Annette Ramirez and Chief Appraiser Roland Altinger hosted a joint press conference to remind Houston-area homeowners about the deadline.

The conference was held in the Office of County Administration Building in Houston.
