I will be one of the people officiating Express Wedding ceremonies this Valentine’s Day at the Heritage Society in downtown Houston.
The non-profit organization first hosted Valentine’s Day express weddings in 2021 for couples who wanted to tie the knot but were pressed by inflation. Since then, it’s become a tradition The Heritage Society has continued yearly.
You can register and reserve a time for an express ceremony at 1100 Bagby Street from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. on Valentine’s Day. I will be there from 10 a.m. - noon!
Outdoor ceremonies are $75. If you want to get married or renew your vows inside the 1891 St. John church, complete with music and a champagne toast, the cost is $150.
