Human remains discovered in burned vehicle in Montgomery County

MONTGOMERY COUNTY, Texas – The Montgomery County Sheriff’s Office is trying to identify human remains found in a burned vehicle south of Conroe on Monday

Authorities say the remains were discovered inside the burned vehicle in an overgrown field in the 9800 block of Forest Lane.

The sheriff’s office says a positive identification of the remains cannot be made at this time and they will be sent for DNA testing.

The circumstances and manner of death are still under investigation, however, no foul play is currently suspected, according to the sheriff’s office.
