HOUSTON – A man was in critical condition after a shooting outside a food truck along the Washington Avenue Corridor.

Police said the victim got into an argument with another man on Washington Avenue and Moy Street just after 2:30 a.m. Sunday.

According to video from the scene, it appeared the shooting happened outside a food truck.

“The victim kept telling him(suspect) to leave him alone and at that point, the suspect took out a weapon, some type of a firearm, and shot him in the chest one time,” said Lt. Ali with the Houston Police Department.

The victim was rushed to the hospital in critical condition.

Police quickly set up a perimeter of the area, but didn’t catch the shooter.

His description has not been released.
