Three of those victims had non-life-threatening injuries, but one was transported to a further hospital for a higher level of treatment.
The plane’s pilot is also alive and is being evaluated.
KPRC 2′s Bryce Newberry reached out to the Federal Aviation Administration, who confirmed the crash involved a twin-engine Piper PA-31 aircraft and only the pilot was on board. The FFA also said that a preliminary accident report will likely be posted tomorrow, and it can be viewed here.
They also provided a search engine for the plane’s aircraft registration number (which is N818BR). A search of this number reveals that the plane’s registered owner is “MARC INC,” and it’s registered in the City of Bolton in Mississippi.
The intersection where the crash took place will also remain closed until further notice.
