HOUSTON – Charges were dismissed against a Houston man accused of practicing dentistry without a license. The Rhode Island man who made the accusations would not cooperate with Harris County prosecutors, according to court documents.

That man, Sheron Robinson, told KPRC 2 that in February of 2024, he traveled to Houston from Rhode Island, enticed by an Instagram ad for veneers and did all the prep work in that appointment. He came back in March to get the veneers put on.

Robinson told Houston Police that when he got back home, he noticed the bite wasn’t right with one of his molars, making chewing a challenge. He made other accusations as well, which prompted charges against the man he accused. However when prosecutors in Sean Teare’s office tried to interview Robinson and get more detailed information, they say he refused to cooperate.
