Firefighters battle large apartment fire in Texas City
TEXAS CITY, Texas – Firefighters battled a large fire at an apartment complex in Texas City Wednesday morning, the Texas City Fire Department said.
Firefighters were called to an apartment complex near Loop 197 and Smith Street just before 7 a.m. due to the blaze.
Several apartment buildings caught on fire, and fire departments and EMS units from other cities were called.
Flames were seen coming from the top of the apartments.
No injuries have been reported.
Several ambulances were called as well as an air ambulance.
