Today will be warm during the daytime, with high temperatures ranging from the upper 60s to the mid-70s across the region.
Scattered showers are expected throughout the day, with rain chances between 30% and 60%. Conditions will remain unsettled as moisture increases ahead of an approaching cold front.
Late this afternoon, the cold front is forecast to move into the area and push offshore later tonight, bringing an increased chance for showers and thunderstorms. Rain chances overnight will range from 20% to 70%, with patchy sea fog possible ahead of the front, particularly near the coast.
As cooler air moves in behind the front, overnight low temperatures are expected to fall into the 40s across far northern areas and the lower 50s closer to the coast.
Wednesday will only reach the mid 60s.
