The love just keeps on coming at Lunches of Love in Rosenberg.
Another amazing update after our story aired Monday June 16, 2025.
The non-profit that feeds almost 2000 children every day during the summer has received thousands more in donations.
Lunches of Love sent us these pictures of their front porch and inside their warehouse as the donations arrived Tuesday morning.
Their front porch covered with boxes of donations piled up so high they blocked the entrance.
Amazon workers delivered several trucks full with food items and drinks.
Several neighbors came and dropped off food and pallets of water.
Lunches of love makes 2000 sack lunches every day for kids in need during the summer.
During the school year it feeds almost 2500 kids every weekend at 38 Lamar Consolidated Schools.
The organization was running super low on supplies, mostly water and juice.
After our initial story aired, the Houston community showed up big.
The community helped raise $5,000 and thousands more in food and supplies.
Lunches of Love still has 8 more weeks left of summer to feed kids who need it the most.
