Houston, Texas – You may remember her as a fierce WWE champion, but Celeste Bonin’s most powerful transformation happened far from the ring.
Raised in Katy by a single mother, Celeste was a varsity soccer captain, prom queen, and standout student at Mayde Creek High School. By 15, she was juggling work, weightlifting, and a spot as an alternate on the U.S. Olympic Development Team for soccer; but, her story was just getting started.
In her early 20s, after being scouted in a fitness competition, Celeste was handpicked by the WWE for training. However, almost immediately was pulled to film a competition series NXT. Go figure, she quickly became a fan favorite. Her rise to fame was inevitable and Celeste eventually became the Divas Champion in front of a sold-out crowd in her hometown of Houston’s Toyota Center.
Her wrestling career took her around the globe—from South Africa to Asia—but after years on the road, Celeste chose to walk away from the spotlight, burned out and unsure of what came next.
What followed was a rollercoaster of entrepreneurship, personal struggle, and profound reinvention. She built a successful fitness brand, faced addiction and divorce, and eventually lost it all; but, hitting rock bottom sparked a deeper calling.
Today, Celeste is the founder of Shine with Celeste, a coaching and mentorship business based in Houston. Through her Body Alchemy Method and Golden Era Mentorship program, she helps entrepreneurs, creatives, and leaders reconnect with their body, regulate their nervous system, and step into their full presence and power.
