Written by Jason Robert Brown in the late 1990s and early 2000s, “The Last Five Years” is a two-person musical that explores the rise and fall of a relationship, loosely based on the composer’s own marriage. Told through music, the story captures the joy of falling in love and the heartbreak of growing apart.

Queensbury Theatre brings the show into a modern setting, incorporating technology commonly used between 2020 and 2025.
