HOUSTON – Are you a fan of classic cult films or horror movies that make you laugh out loud?
Or maybe you know Brandon Routh from “Superman Returns” and Mena Suvari from the “American Pie” franchise.
If so, the upcoming horror comedy “Ick” might be just what you’re looking for.
“Ick” hits theaters nationwide on July 27, 28, and 29, but Houston audiences can see it early at a special screening at 7 p.m. on Saturday, July 19, at the River Oaks Theatre. The screening will be followed by a Q&A session with director Joseph Kahn and star Brandon Routh.
And--there’s even a Texas connection. The production was filmed in Conroe, Brenham, and Splendora.
Kahn and Routh stopped by the “Houston Life” studio to give us a sneak peek at the film. Watch their interview in the video above.
