HOUSTON – If you mention ‘Star Trek’ to fans...aside from the phrase “live long and prosper” one of the most popular things to rise out of that franchise was the career of legendary actor, William Shatner.
William’s career spans over 70 years – as an award-winning actor, director, producer, writer, recording artist, and equestrian. He’s even gone to space!
He is one of Hollywood’s most recognizable figures, and is for sure most widely known for his role as Captain James T. Kirk in ‘Star Trek.’
Fans have also seen him in projects such as ‘T.J. Hooker,’ hosting television’s first reality-based series, ‘Rescue 911,’ then onto shows like ‘The Practice’ and ‘Boston Legal.’ He also played beauty pageant MC “Stan Fields” in the 2000 comedy, ‘Miss Congeniality.’
And now you can see William live in person at the House of Blues on July 31st for the ‘Wrath of Khan’ tour.
Following a screening of the sci-fi classic, Shatner will take the stage to share fascinating and humorous behind-the-scenes stories from his seven decades-long career as an actor, producer, director, writer and –most recently– space-traveler.
