HOUSTON – AARP Houston wants to bring the community together to help support and empower our male caregivers.
They are hosting a free ‘Men Who Care’ conference to explore men’s roles in adult caregiving, mental health and community building through workshops and discussions.
Eddie Orum and Jennifer Wandrey from AARP Texas recently stopped by Houston Life to chat about local resources available to support caregivers.
The event will be held Saturday, June 28 at the Buffalo Soldiers National Museum in Houston, from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m.
