Whether you’re a seasoned musician or just love that crisp crackle before the beat drops, this local gem is pressing records and keeping the analog dream alive, one spin at a time.
610 Record Manufacturing opened last June in the East End Maker Hub, and it’s Houston’s first vinyl record pressing plant in over 30 years.
Joel Hoyle is the owner and operator, but he’s also a musician wanting to give other local artists accessible and affordable ways to create vinyl records.
A few of his all time favorites? Prince and Led Zeppelin, of course.
It’s actually a quick, yet fascinating process to watch a record come to life!
