HOUSTON – Get ready to scream for ice cream -- for free!
We’re celebrating Ben & Jerry’s Free Cone Day, where the shops all around the world are trying to beat their goal of serving over 1 million cones throughout the day.
Here’s the best part -- ice cream lovers can get in line as many times as they’d like until 8 p.m.
As you may know, Free Cone Day was officially born in Spring 1979, a day that has always been about thanking the fans. Free Cone Day has been a way for Ben & Jerry’s to give back to the community that helped it grow from a single Scoop Shop in a renovated gas station in Burlington, Vermont, to one of the most beloved ice cream companies worldwide.
During the much-loved tradition, Ben & Jerry’s aims to spread some joy across the globe, one ice cream filled cone at a time.
