HOUSTON – St. Patrick’s Day celebrations are in full swing today in cities around the globe, so it’s only fitting that we sent our travel guy Gabe Saglie to Ireland to see how they celebrate.
“This is a city that has, since 1931, had its sort of homegrown St. Patrick’s Day parade,” said Saglie of the colorful parade.
“But it’s really been in the last 12 to 15 years that they’ve transformed this into an international party,” he added, noting that people travel from all over the world to join the festivities in Dublin.
Dublin’s parade is considered one of the largest St. Patrick’s Day celebrations in the world.
