In the kitchen at Philly Flats in Katy, famous for authentic Philadelphia cheesesteaks

HOUSTON – Philly Flats started as food truck called ‘Quaker Steaks’ in 2018, but after a name change in 2021, the Pennsylvania-native owners Scott Boyer and his wife Kim have been serving up their favorite authentic Philly cheesesteaks right here in Houston.

And in case you were wondering - ‘Philly’ for the cheese steaks and ‘Flats’ for the wings.

From the ‘Original Philly Cheese Steak’, to ‘the Chicken Quaker’ and the ‘Whiz,’ their cheesesteaks are so good that Houston-based fans of the Philadelphia Eagles *flock* to the Katy location every game day.

If you’re interested in making a reservation or getting more info, you can always find them online --> HERE.

Watch as Lauren Kelly chats with owner Scott Boyer all about what’s on the menu, and how you can be a part of their big game watch party on Sunday.
