Houston – Mark your calendars for the 48th Annual Joy of Quilt show! Over two hundred designs, some of which are award-winning creations, will be displayed, and each quilt will tell a story.
Established in 1976, the Quilt Guild of Greater Houston is the area’s largest and oldest non-profit quilting organization. With a deep commitment to celebrating the beautiful artistry of quilting, the guild actively engages in the community through philanthropic initiatives that highlight the craft and its impact on society. So far, the guild has completed an impressive 13,280 volunteer hours and created up to 620 quilts to benefit local charities.
You can explore their biggest quilting event this Friday and Saturday and enjoy a world of colorful tapestry with renowned quilters at the Stafford Centre. Plus, guests will have the opportunity to bid on quilts in a charity auction, with proceeds benefiting local causes that positively impact the community
