HOUSTON – Happy National Magic Week! It’s a week-long celebration that started today, October 25, leading up to Halloween on October 31, also known as Houdini Day or Magic Day.
National Magic Week was founded in 1927 to honor Harry Houdini who passed away a year earlier on October 31, 1926.
Today on ‘Houston Life,’ local award-winning magician and comedian Paul Driscoll brought his magical talents to the studio to kick off National Magic Week. He began his magical journey at six years old, performing tricks door to door with an old suitcase as ‘Drisco The Great.’ Standing tall at 6′9″, he’s captivated audiences around the world at comedy clubs, corporate events, and luxury cruise liners as one of the most ‘looked up to’ magicians.
Today, he dazzled Derrick Shore and Melanie Camp with a mind-blowing trick. Watch the amazing show in the video above and comment below if you figured out his secret.
With the holiday season approaching, Driscoll is available to perform at company holiday events. Click here to visit his website for more information.
