If you’re a student looking to get your sports physical done for free for the 2025-2026 school year, then you’re in the right place! Today, the Houston Independent School District (HISD) is teaming up with Memorial Hermann to offer FREE sports physicals for all students eager to hit the field next year!

The exam will take place at the YMCA Sunrise Center, located at 5801 West Orem Drive, Houston, TX 77085, from 7:30 a.m. to 11:30 a.m.
This opportunity is for students in grades 7th through 12th enrolled in Houston school districts. If your child wears glasses or contact lenses, make sure they bring them along for the exam as well.
Looking to register? Just give them a call at 281-683-7051 to sign up. Lastly, before you head out, students need to have their physical forms filled out. If you haven’t filled out the form, make sure you go to the HISD website where you can find forms on the athletic department’s website under “Physicals” So, gather your gear, bring your forms, and go get a free physical.
