Celebrate Black History Month at Avenida Houston with free family-friendly activities every Saturday. Enjoy live music, art, educational programming, and the BLCK Market, showcasing 50 local Black-owned businesses. KTSU 90.9FM hosts the main stage, featuring a different music genre each week.

🐴 Feb. 9: Black Cowboy Student Education Day at George Ranch

💃 Feb. 10: Souls of Black Houston at Hobby Center

Celebrate Black History Month and the 20th anniversary of this dance company with a performance featuring Colored Carnegie, which tells the story of the fight for the Houston Colored Carnegie Library.
