According to METRO, to access the HOV lanes on I-45, I-69, U.S. 290 and the Katy Managed Lanes on I-10, you must have two or more people in your vehicle. Single drivers pay a toll to access the lanes.
Lanes are closed to single-drivers during peak traffic times between 6-8 a.m.
