Holy Cross Church in Sugar Land hosts its annual pumpkin patch Oct. 18–19, 2025, featuring pumpkins from a Texas farm along with hayrides, a bounce house, a children’s maze, pumpkin decorating, food, and live entertainment. The weekend also includes a silent auction and the Blessing of the Animals at noon on Oct. 18.

Asbury’s Annual Pumpkin Patch

Clear Lake United Methodist Church Pumpkin Patch

Clear Lake United Methodist Church in Houston has hosted a pumpkin patch for over 30 years. Visitors can browse a variety of pumpkins and gourds, enjoy photo stations with a pumpkin house and themed displays, and take part in the annual Fall Festival on Oct. 19. The patch will also be open all day on CCISD holidays Oct. 10 and 13.

Old MacDonald’s Farm Pumpkin Patch

Old MacDonald’s Farm in Humble is a family favorite with train rides, pony rides, a petting zoo, and playgrounds year-round. During fall, the farm transforms with festive décor, photo spots, and a pumpkin patch filled with small and medium pumpkins.

Each child with paid admission gets a free pumpkin, and adults can purchase one for $3. Admission is $18.65 plus tax and includes unlimited access to all activities. Children under 18 months are free, with discounts for military and seniors.

Katy First United Methodist Church Pumpkin Patch

Katy First United Methodist Church in Katy hosts its annual Pumpkin Patch daily from noon to 6 p.m. through Oct. 31, 2025. Visitors can enjoy Story Time, a Photo Corner, and browse pumpkins for carving or decorating. This is the original pumpkin patch in Old Katy!

Houston Pumpkin Festival at Discovery Green

The Houston Pumpkin Festival runs through Oct. 31 with attractions including the world’s largest bouncy pumpkin, a corn pit, crystal kayaks, and more than 50 varieties of pumpkins. Families can also enjoy photo ops, games, and seasonal activities.

Walkups are unlikely due to high demand. Advance reservations are recommended; walk-up tickets will only be available if space allows.
