Two alleged leaders of a violent Houston street gang have been convicted in federal court for ordering a retaliatory drive-by shooting in the Third Ward that killed an innocent bystander, according to the U.S. Attorney’s Office.

A candlelight vigil is set to be held in remembrance of a Liberty County 18-year-old who was killed after he was struck by a bullet while playing video games in his bedroom.

Two people were shot in a drive-by shooting Thursday night at a bar in northwest Houston, officials said.
